F is for Forgiveness

| April 5, 2014

There are barley any words for these portraits I came across on the New York Times website. Simply, wow. They capture both perpetrators and survivors besides each other  who were in the genocide in Rwanda twenty years ago. The survivors have chosen to forgive their perpetrators despite the unimaginable suffering. It is amazing how capable the human heart is and how these portraits, this work of art remind us of that.
