Q is for Questioning

| April 28, 2014

I have come to realize (after more that two decades of teaching middle school) that one of the most important things I can teach my students is how to ask their own questions. If they can learn to be seekers of knowledge, rather than passive recipients then I will have done something worthwhile. They can then construct their own paths and explore what intrigues them. In order to develop their questioning muscles they have to think divergently and convergently.
