C is for Calm.

C is for calm.  Since moving to New York City this past September, I have been searching tirelessly for the sense of calm I seem to have lost.  Just leaving my apartment, I am barraged by the thousands of noises, sights, and smells vying for my attention.  More than just everyday distractions, there are also much larger life issues that continually occupy space in my mind and disrupt any sense of calm I am trying to achieve.  When trying to learn, distractions are all around us.   How do we filter out these distractions so that we can find calmness amidst chaos?
