M is for Morning Practice

| April 29, 2014

Currently, my “morning practice” involves 1) refusing to get out of my bed 2) checking my emails 3) reading the New York Times and the Post and 4) checking Facebook and Instagram (both wastes of time, the latter less so). However, I want my morning practice to involve 1) stretching on my yoga mat (Oh no, this involves getting out of bed) 2) a ten minute meditation and 3) reviewing my to-do list for the day (not that inspiring but necessary). As the post below suggests, I must start small. Old habits die slowly, especially when they involve a decidedly non-morning person in the, gasp, mornings.
